About Me

My name is Erin Ecklund and I practice Medical Qigong out of my home in rural southwest Wiscosnin. I love the country and it loves me! I offer in person and remote treatments.

I am a certified Medical Qigong Master through the International College of Medical Qigong (ICMQ) in TN. I have nurtured a lifelong interest in energetic medicine. At 14 years old I knew without a doubt that I wanted to be a healer of some kind and spent a good portion of my life searching for the modality that felt like the right fit. As a teenager I trained in various modalities including Healing Touch, Reiki, and Body Talk but nothing quite stuck with me until I discovered Medical Qigong as an adult in 2015. I spent several years informally learning Medical Qigong in Bellingham, WA, although it was a different form than what I practice today. Even so, my experiences as a client and as a practitioner of Medical Qigong blew all my other experiences out of the water, so much so that I have spent the last three and a half years intensively training at the ICMQ, while concurrently treating clients, and am currently in the midst of the two year Medical Qigong Doctoral program.

Dr. Bernard Shannon, DMQ, DTCM, instructor at the ICMQ, offers a three year series of certifications prior to the Doctoral program: Medical Qigong Practitioner, Medical Qigong Therapist, and Medical Qigong Master. In addition to completing these programs I was invited to return as a student mentor for 2024’s Practitioner class and am continuing in that role with the Therapist class of 2025. Working with and assisting the students has been a joy and reward in and of itself.
